Yes, they sold 10.5 million units but that includes both the Move unit and Navigation sub controller totals.   So only about 5 million or so actual Move units were sold.  And half bought more than 1 unit for multiplayer.  Even at best, 3.5 million individual PS3 onwers have a Move controller.

that is pure speculation. we cant really determine the userbase of the move untill sony confirms so

And they never will nor can they.   What we do know for certain is that the 10.5 million figure includes both Move and sub-navigation controllers.   Sony acknowledged that already.

If you want to give the Move controller a higher sales rate, then we may have as high as 6 million Move units sold.   Then we can give a very high single unit sales rate which could mean as many as 4 million individual owners.    It's not speculation, it's extrapolation and deduction.

And it's still very irrelevant to my initial point being that there are already far more Wii remotes readily avialble to developers for support over Move.  For all we know one will come packed in with the Wii U itself.   And that's to say nothing of the point I made regarding Activisions support for the Classic Controller Pro  on Wii which has a far smaller install base than the Wii remote will have for the Wii U.  Therefore, if they supported the CCP on Wii with the smaller install base, why wouldn't they support the Wii remote with a far higher install base?
