I don't think Apple gives a hoot about making a game console, but letting people wirelessly play the games on their iOS devices and iMac/Macbook on a TV screen with a TV friendly interface?
Yup that I could see.
I think something is coming, too much smoke for there not to be a fire somewhere. The convergance of the PC and the television is going to happen in a real way within the next 5 years I think.
