Are you kidding? Pretty much everyone I know who owns a Wii has lots of fun memories and loves the console. I'd say that the Wii has the best average word of mouth of any console, really. Well, that's excluding "hardcore" gamers (i.e. 11-year-olds who enjoy cursing online and seeing guts spill on their screens). And really, this audience has never bought Nintendo consoles so it doesn't matter.
If the WiiU fails, it'll be despite the brand name, not because of it.
