that thread went funny.
what can you do know? you can, if you are someone like me, connect your tv with your pc like before and don't have to use your mouse and keyboard first on the steam interface just to use a controller when you start the game and switch back to mouse/keyboard on the steam interface and bla.
next improvement is that most couldn't really use steam on their tv because everything was too small then. yes a tv screen is bigger but the viewing distance is too big for most so they can't really use pc interfaces on their tv without big problems to read the text. this isn't a problem anymore now.
they also implemented a browser which you can use on your tv with your controller if you want to use that.
that's it, for people like me it is an appreciated improvement, for others it's useless, like so much on this planet, some need it and some not.
