On a related point, your teammates can absolutely kick your ass when under Shade.

^ Fighting the dark Muruk guy huh? Honestly he was one of the most annoying bosses to me because of the possession thing plus his already tough challenge.

Fought him. Had to retry a couple of times because Syrenne would get shaded, then would corner me and just prevent me from being able to do anything (hit me before i could gale out or go into Command Mode)

Dumbest one was when he Shades Mirania, and you're forced to kill her to be able to even try to save the others, but i had that problem with the earlier Shade too.
