This also assumes that PS3 sales will dramatically increase. That may or may not happen. I think that the Wii could get to about 60% at most in NA, with 360/PS3 at 40%/10% respectivily. If the Wii keeps outselling both and gets more games that will help it sell more so it just spirals upwards. And the gap between the 3 will widen, already Wii is outselling PS3 and 360 combined by a considerable margin. WW will be even better for the Wii since 360 and now PS3 are tanking in Japan. Europe is a wildcard, so we will see. Also as for lifespan, what if the PS4 and Xbox720 come out in 5 years and Nintendo says they are keeping the Wii going for another 3-5 years. They would have a huge install base that the competitors would never be able to make up and most games would be on the Wii, even multiplatform which would cancel out any graphical improvements. Or what if the Wii is expandable. You buy an addon that gives more CPU/GPU/RAM for the system to use (kinda like that memory card addon for N64). They could sell that for $100 or something. I don't know if that is even possible but if it is the Wii could be around for a long time.
