and they didn't look too good either.  Based off impressions from the game they don't seem to be much of a contender for the division.

The Cheifs looked good in the first half keeping pace with the Falcons. There was no defense in the first half by either team. From what I saw the Cheifs will have a horrible defense this year. Not ready to call them bad, but it was in Arrowhead stadium where they usually win so I hope it is a sign they suck!
