| Torillian said: @Libroex How so? I can't see how the PC gamers are getting a better deal out of this since all they got was a late port. There's no mention of these new games that the developer is planning to make with the funding on Nintendo platforms being on PC at the same time or ever really far as I could tell. @Chandler Yes, you're right, they are not the exact same situation, but I already mentioned how the two are similar and that's all that's required for a comparison. If it was the exact same situation I would have worded things more harshly and perhaps even done the cliche calling out of a fanbase for what I perceive to be hypocritical. No they aren't exactly the same, but they're similar enough to be funny to me. Everyone enjoys being on the good end of a crappy deal, so don't feel bad about it, but I don't think if you were a PC only gamer that you would be taking this as fantastic news, just like Nintendo fans didn't like when they got a raw similar raw deal, but as someone who owned an HD console as well as a Wii I was perfectly fine with that set up to be honest. |
I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. If Renegade Kid finds success on PC comparable to their success on the DS and 3DS, they will support PC more in the future. This could end up being good news for PC fans and Nintendo fans alike... but we have to see how it plays out first.
