Naughty Dog has talked about this before, but just how context sensitive your melee attacks are, or how your character will reach out and touch a wall when he's close by. They started this kind of thing in Uncharted 3 with melee attacks that changed based on where you were in the environment if you happened to be close to something interesting like a fish at a market, but TLoU takes it to another level where almost everything seems context sensitive and it helps keep things fresh even though gameplay dictates that you'll be doing the same thing a lot. Also helps the atmosphere of desperation that Joel will use whatever he can to survive.
