Why? I thought the big three usually states that it's up to retailers to price their products in Europe while the US tend to have fixed prices?

Well, yes. But retailers still have to buy those consoles from them. And and what price? I honestly think that, given the price wars that some retailers have with each other, if consoles here have the same price as in the USA, it's becaue they have no choice.

After all, how many times have Nintendo or Sony or Microsoft launched a product saying how much it was and it's always the same in € than $ ?
