Though, they looked slightly more sedan-like than they did hatchback like. Cut to today, and I think the European influence is clear. Hatchbacks are the overwhelming majority of cars on the streets there. With hatchbacks being significantly more popular than sedans, it would seem reasonable to expect the design of a current vehicle to reflect that. |
Well the first and second generation Focuses in the US actually looked like sedans when you bought the sedan version. Especially the second generation one since it didn't come as a hatchback.
