They must have really pushed it in Japan. Won't be seeing numbers like this again in Japan for a while. Maybe until Ys, Phantasy Star 2 or Soul Sacrifice come out. This is good news though, those numbers are basically telling devs if people want your game they'll buy it regardless of the platform. |
It's the 5th aniversary of said aniamted diva. So i imagine that's what has massivly pushed those sales. A celebration of the first computer generated pop star.
So really... it's more of a "special case" that should be watched fairly closely... since the boost is likely mostly causede by fans of the character rather then the system, and it's a particularly beloved character... for some reason.
