So, a few people took my example of working hard from poor unprivileged beginnings and becoming successful and stated a few things..

1) theoretically not everyone can be well off as there has to be people on bottom....
uh yeah so fucking what? Those are the dumb-asses who chose to not work hard. Be happy and shut it.

2) ok, but I was lucky to be born in a 1st world nation where I even have that opportunity...
uh yeah so fucking what? So was the person being quoted and so was her intention of her quote. She and I both spoke within the confines of our living conditions in a 1st world country. Where does any of the 3rd world come into that scenario? No fucking shit someone born into a wasteland in Africa with horrible dictators not really have any chance at getting to the top unless they kill the one on top or marry well. But I wasn't talking about Africa... I was talking about US and by similarity other 1st world nations.

Then there's my next example. One of my closests friends are also high school sweethearts and dropped out of high school at ages 16/17, worked at McDonalds, had two kids (1st at 17/18, 2nd at 20/21)... also worked their assess off at full time fast food/retail jobs. Wife has master's degree and is about to become an Executive at IBM the other just finished his Bachelor's a couple years ago, might go back for Masters, and is working at a technical based company. They also have solid 6 figure incomes and eldest son is just now starting his college education after being a nearly 4.0 graduate from a public high school.

Facts are, if you work hard you will succeed... and yes for the explicit folks reading this, of course this is only referring to 1st world nations where the establishment is good enough for this to happen. I wish I could fix the rest of the world, but unfortunately that is not within my capacity. I do try to vote for people that are not for the continued US unethical dominance and rape of the 3rd world, but the majority don't seem to see it happening.
