The Thing is one of the worst Blu-Ray's out their they did a very poor job with it. I have one similar to that Rocky the picture quality is only slightly better then the DVD and it has zero special features besides theatrical trailers. The DVD I have of Rock which is the first Special Edition is packed with special features. One of the best Blu-ray's I own so far is 3:10 to Yuma (2007) the picture quality is excellent and it is packed with extra feautures some of which are only on the Blu-Ray version it also has a great menu which a lot of Blu-Ray's don't have overall most DVD's still have better menu's then most Blu-Ray movies.
