Both will because when the system dies it gets around a 10 million sales boost due to piracy. Expect to see a bunch more people buying PS3's and Xbox's to downgrade the to 3.55 firmware and to jtag them repectively. It happened with the Wii, DS, xbox, and PS2, when they died (funnily enough I only saw the PS1, Dreamcast, and PSP hacked during their generations (Never saw a hacked GC but I did have friends that used the dolphin emulator for it.)) Though I have seen the used market dramatically increase this gen so maybe the piracy boost will be smaller. Though both will definitely reach 80 million units sold due to the fact that people will buy when the 720 and PS4 are out because they are uninformed and want the cheaper option and/ or they just want a inexpensive video game console for themselves/kids/relatives/etc.
Plus the PS3 will have an easier time to meet that goal since the PS4 wont have the cell processor to play those games so more people will want to buy it.
