No way!

This is current gen? When I seen this at first I was like yup next gen is coming! Then PS3/X360/PC!?!? What the hells next gen going to look like if we have graphics this amazing on these old machines. I know it's the PC version that was shown but still someone mentioned the PS3 version will be fairly close to it. Can't wait to see next gen graphics!

You've already seen them and apparently you weren't impressed >_>

That was only a little clip of the new Unreal engine. There are plenty of engines that put out better graphics then the unreal engine. Also those graphics that were displayed is likely just a base for multiplatform graphics on the X720 and PS4, whenever the new hardwares are actually out one will probably be better then the other and will have much better looking first party games.

So that clip of the new Unreal Engine 4 is just a taste of how much better things can get. Also compare games from the beginning of this gen to now, it almost looks like they went through another gen of graphics.

Not Unreal Engine 4, no. And that engine was running on a PC. If you expect next-gen consoles to be more powerful than the most powerful PCs of today you're in for a rude awakening . As a tech demo, UE4 is more impressive than what we saw here, but this is of course a running game which makes it more impressive than otherwise.

Interesting thought of mine, I remember when they first showed off Unreal 3.  I was like "OMG", and then they made a game using it.  It was almost night and day.  All that advanced displacement maps were gone.  Lighting wasn't anything good.  Gears was barely "almost" as good as that tech demo.  I'll hand my hats off to Gears 3 though.
