I'm the same. I don't buy many movies, but when I do it's blu-ray.
I do re-buy movies on blu-ray that I already have on DVD, but it's usually ones that have been remastered very well and have tonnes of extra content. My Step-Dad got the James Bond DVD box set 5 months ago but I'm already considering buying the blu-ray box set because of the sheer quality and effort being put into it.
