The core reason is this: it's almost impossible to get a good conversation about games going, now.

I've been posting primairly on other sites to actually talk about games, because sustained conversation here borders on impossible unless you're willing to carry the conversation entirely by yourself. The biggest posters now have next to no attention span and are happier in contention than they are in talking about the things they enjoy.

I've tried to sustain many conversations with you to no avail. I've had the same problem here with other posters. What's the reason and what's the solution?
