That's a very good question, and the reason why Nintendo won't sell the WiiU at $200.
If they sell a console with a tablet-style controller that has a screen that's bigger than the one found in their biggest handheld, and costs almost the same, people find the handheld overpriced and it will damage its sales.
250 $/€ is the minimum I can see for WiiU, but if Nintendo is crazy enough to do it, I'm all in!
