that was what I ended up doing as well, found one inside a local pawn shop and paid 10 euros for it. just keep an eye out if you have any similar shops to you, the things are common enough in places where people would trade in older models of the 360 and pawn shops often end up taking in the left overs after peoples systems have died to age so they're happy to sell off the bits for any cash.
