Certainly not, because the vast majority of potential Wii U consumers doesn't even own a 3DS.

People who will buy a $250+ Wii U just for NSMB U but not a $170 3DS just for NSMB 2? 

I'd understand if the Wii-Sports like audience or Nintendo Core audience were transferring immediately but I don't think there's enough there yet. There's going to have to be 3D Mario, Zelda, or Smash Bros for the latter to switch.

23 million how would anyone think this game will pull in a good number for Wii-U.

 

If they bundle the game I feel sorry for xbox360/ps3
