I know it's from my own experience. But when i asked family members that own it or other non gaming friends if they were interested in the new Wii. They said, " i already have a wii that i don't use, why do i need a new one?". The Wii fad is long over, the core has settled down with Sony and MS and without much of an improvement, what motivation do the core have to pick this up? The window is very small, and with price drops expected from both Sony and MSi can't see the Wii U doing too well. Higher than the Gamecube for sure, but much lower than the Wii. Wii u should have been released at least 2 years ago if not 6. |
If they don't play the game system they have then (1) why would they buy another is year old system and (2) why would they buy a new "Wii" when to them they are thinking Pachter's WiiHD rathter than a new console? Seriously, this will move well over the holidays soon because it is the new thing. The future will depend on software and competition -- and the global economy. My guess is that it will outperform the analysts' expectations. They are all right now dusting off their doom predictions and calls for Nintendo games on other platforms. Mike from Morgantown
I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
