But what does that have to do with the sales in Japan? That's what Pezus is talking about, I think. The game did release in Japan and it sold... well, it sold fantastically, but for a Monster Hunter game it sold poorly.
I mean, 500k is definitely nothing to be sniffed at, but MH is a juggernaut on handhelds and decent seller on home consoles. If you consider Portable 3rd sold nearly 5 million on the PSP and managed 1/10th of that on PS3, that's the point we've been getting at.
But anyway, I'll leave it there for now. I mean, it's definitely a huge draw for the Wii-U, regardless of whether it reaches the handheld numbers.
