I seriously think this guy feels personally offended by Nintendo because they've proven him to be wrong so many times. I guess being wrong about Wii HD was the final straw. As for the Wii U itself, who knows how it'll do. It doesn't have the same exact approach as they Wii. Instead of simplifying things in order to grab new audiences, Wii U is like a grown up version of the Wii. It's almost if Nintendo assums that the new audience they gathered during the Wii years are more comfortable with videogames and can play slightly more complex games now. Nintendo also wants more diversity this time around aka the core gamer. In a way, they're trying to do what Sony was able to do with PS1 and PS2.
