Wonder what Iwata is thinking about the bad sales in the west for Nsmb2 compared to Japan, which ironically was released for the western markets.

NSMB DS FW - 150k

USA DS installbase - 4.62M

NSMB2 = NSMB

I need to fix:

NSMB2 > NSMB

We need digital sales and see next weeks performance to make a proper judgement, but from what we know right now (retail sales) outselling NSMB is not a big achievement. As was mentioned before, legs could be large, but we have another NSMB game in less than 3 months in the buzz of a new console.

I believe it will be harder for NSMB2 this holiday than the next ones to post big numbers with 2 relative new 2D Marios.
