I wonder if, for the first time ever I might be an early gen and mid gen buyer. Partly because now my kids have money of their own and they can help pay.
PS4 is a guaranteed buy. But Wii U definitely has appeal. If the price is right for Wii U and the PS4 price starts out a little high then I could definitely see me having only a Wii U in the house for a couple of years. It's a maybe only though. It will all depend on price. And Wii here was always more overpriced compared to the US price than PS3 or 360. So Ninty might try to cream it in markets like mine, which would definitely be a barrier to me buying.
