lol. I don't feel lied to. If there was an imbalance of "casual" games over "core" games on Wii, it was a result of third party support. Read your own bolded line again: "We will continue to make those big masterpiece titles for the core gamer." We. As in Nintendo. As in Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid Prime 3, Prime Trilogy, Other M, Zelda Skyward Sword, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Xenoblade, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Animal Crossing, Wario Ware, Punch Out, Super Paper Mario, Fire Emblem. I want to include Mario Kart and New Super, but I'll leave them out for your sake.

Oh, you mean statements like, "If you want power, you're going to go someplace else. Have at it. We're doing something very different," which you conveniently skipped over? Was that out of touch with reality? They told the truth. The Wii was powerful enough to make people say "wow." Games like Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, and DKCR easily accomplished that and more.
