Sony has been breaking even on the PS3 since 2010 As I said the ten year plan will cover the cost and then some. SCEA has always planned well with the Playstation as a console when it comes to profit. I dont even know why this is a point of argument.

That's per unit profits. We're not discussing the same thing.

Are you discussing production cost profits? Because I am sure they have surpassed production costs by now in R&D as the cost of parts have long since dropped off the face of the earth. Also as part of the Blu Ray association Sony is profitting off of their shares of Blu Ray.
