Sports titles are released on every console possible. That and this are very different tho. They are talking about new IPs based on Frostbyte engine. I'm sure at least 1-2 of them will be on a lot of platforms. But for yoru theory to become true, there are a LOT of Ifs involved. Since they specifically mention the next xbox/PS here...I don't see any reason to think otherwise.
But there's always a chance of ports later on I guess

Yeah I seem to have mis-read the article. And there are a lot of ifs involved, but if (there it is again) the WiiU is powered competitively and dev-friendly, I see no reason not to port the games over. Let's hope so anyway.

I'm all for good competition (no seriously I am)..cuz I think that is the reason why I love the sony first party now...they had to step it up and they did and everyone benefited
but I honestly think Nintendo are to be blamed here as well to a certain degree. If (lol this is catching on to me as well hehe) Eurogamer is right about 1GB for gaming bit...ninty is setting themselves up for a similar situation as this gen 3rd party support wise. These are consoles that are meant to be in the market for a while and I honestly think 1GB is horrible. This gets worse with the CPU info/rumors. But we should wait until the console is out to actually judge. Imho if these info is on the money, then ninty needs two things
1. Insanely good and big marketing campaign
2. Some games like Wiisports to really suck the crowds in.

They mentioned it wouldn't be far behind the other 2 next gen consoles so im sure it will be able to run whatever EA makes for them. Honestyl if EA doesn't give the Wiiu some of those new IPs ill be kinda mad as it seems like Nintendo is trying, but they can't do everything. I mean it apparentaly doesn't cost much to port it to the wiiu and Nintendo are offering incentives for developing for it it just seems weird to me.

If the spec info Eurogamer has put out is true...then no, ninty are not trying...at least not thinking long term

I mean trying to encourage third party developers to put games on their system. In terms of longterm their fine with 1gig in my opinion though I wouldn't mind more though I heard 1.5 gig in some of other thread on here and another 500mb for the OS idk I can't wait till its all revealed though.
