From what I've heard on multiple sites, these specs make the Wii U either just as powerful as PS3/360 or way more powerful. So, I'll just post statements from the internet. http://mynintendonews.com/2012/08/30/developers-finally-reveal-wii-u-specs/ I don’t believe it because of these statements: “The console’s CPU is apparently formed of three IBM Power PC cores” “The GPU is a custom AMD 7 series, supporting shader type 4 and DX10 type features” Power PC was never confirmed by Nintendo. Their own website claims that the CPU is multi-core, but Power based, not Power PC. They are two completely different CPU architectures. The AMD 7 series GPU family supports shader model 5 and DX11 type features. I am a skeptic. Grain of salt taken. |
Anyone remember the thousands of articles claiming THE SPECS REVEALED!
Why gets hits and people go OMG THE NEWS ARTICLE MOST BE TRUE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT IS.
I seen rumors say Wii_U gpu is lower than ps3 to it's 10 times stronger.
I seen articles say the cpu is 1.5 two cores to 3.4 quad core.
I don't listen to the positive or neagtive because it's all bs.
Just wait till nintendo releases there specs.
