I always find it funny how some people complain that the RNC has "too many minority speakers."

It really makes a few stupid assumptions

1) That minorities will be "tricked" by someone being the same as them. Apparently they can't listen to speeches and decide based on that?

2) That speaking at a national convention isn't important. It is... and it's HUGE for your political career. It's valuable practice and face time.

3) That it's bad minorities are overrepresented. If it was anything BUT the RNC, practically everybody who wasn't complaining would be wanting to throw compliments and medals at such a situation being the case.
