I don't hate Apple at all, but what gets me is people who say they dislike people who buy Apple products or go out and label people who buy iPhones to be dumb or egomaniacs. How does it make you dumb to buy an iPhone but not dumb to buy an Android for the same price and full of bloatware that requires you to void your warranty to remove it?

I am of the belief that people don't think before they complain about Apple and their products.

Totally agree. If I but an Apple product it's because I like how they function not because I'm brainwashed and stupid. That's what most people here think anyway.

Pretty sure if Android would be the leader everyone would hate them.

Why Android is the market leader and still doesn't get the negative attention is because it is an open platform ...

If Samsung grows into being an abusive monopoly that charges excessive amounts of money for their products people can still buy products from countless other vendors that still run the android OS; and therefore people become upset with Samsung not Android.

If the different vendors were smart they would also focus on specific market segments and create the best device and distribution for that segment. Sony/Ericsson could produce a gaming phone that merges the PS-Vita with a smartphone/tablet, RIM could focus on high security and business applications, Samsung could focus on high-end consumer products, Nokia could focus on entry level devices, and so on; and the net result is a platform that can fit anyone's price range and/or technical demands.

Compare and contrast that with Apple who designs their devices for image conscience high end users and then sues anyone who dares make a device that has anything in common with their devices.
