BTW... I heard then everybody's favorites Mario 3 and Mario World flopped hard too
Super Mario: 6.8 million
Super Mario 3: 3.8 mi
Super Mario World: 3.5
New Super Mario Bros: 6.4 Million
If NSMB 2 reaches that 3.5-3.8 million range, which I think it will, things are ok. BTW, those new Marios are full price still to this day! I don't know Nintendo policy back then, but pretty sure they lowered the prices a lot (and had player's choice things)
