I dislike my personal experiences with Apple. I foolishly bought an Apple music player thing a long time ago without doing any research. Everyone had one, so I wanted one, too. About a month later, I bought a normal mp3 player that I ended up liking more, for less than half the price of the Apple. Then there is iTunes. The damn thing is like a virus, plus I still have a bunch of music in their proprietary, DRM protected format that I still need to convert over. I will never buy another song from there.
It's also kind of funny the way some Apple fans compare Apple computers to PCs. They will, as inane as this sounds, tell you how much better their $1200 Apple is than the $400 PC they used to have. That makes no sense. It's like comparing a Cadillac to a Yugo and using that as basis to claim that American cars are better than European cars. Compare a $1200 Apple to a $1200 PC if you actually want to be honest.
And yes, those ads were incredibly dishonest and smug, and turned me off of Apple even more.
