I like where this is going!
I've always used the tactic my entire life of getting the girl to chase after me. You get them interested, show them how awesome and desirable you are, and then you let them fall for you by their own means (without you pushing back with anything) and once they fall for you, you always stay in control of what happens.
You have to be desirable for her first, though. Confidence, personality, humor, and looks.
