Why do people claimed only Nintendo games sell on Nintendo platforms as if a bad thing?

At the begining of the generation, most devs put their beans on the 360/ps3 because they though the wii was going to get destroid by those "hardcore" consoles. The wii then sold a huge ton of hardware and software, devs probably were looking at that market and salivating at all the money around the console, however changing gears at the point meant they were wrong at the begining, and no way they would admit such a thing. It'd be better sink the boat that surrender to the new capitan.
