That is not the question. Nintendo is on top overall everywhere. The question is can Sony and Microsoft.

The Wii has been dead to 3rd party's for a lot longer than the sales of the system has slow down.  Right now, it's getting the same treatment as the vita, ports and more ports. There is over 130 million PS3/Xbox360 What makes them think these people are going to drop their friends list, their trophies and gamer score and a superior online service to make the jump for ports? Wii u is also in danger of launching out side of the 200-250 sweet spot causal player needs. So the core players is their only hope of this thing taking off like a rocket. I guess no one remembers the 64 and GameCube days where the spent 15 years dead last. So no, the questions isn't can the ps3 and xbox can keep up it's if the Wii U can. Also don't for get that the PS2 sold nearly 50 million into this gen. I don't think the wii u stands a chance.
