Android and WP are all about choice. You can get a high end device for the same price as your iPhone or a cheaper device if you're not a power user. With apple, you have just the choice of internal storage. And if you look at the specs of the iPhone compared to the high-end Android devices, you'll see that you're paying the same amount for a (vastly) inferior product. Why are you so happy to admit that you want apple to have a monopoly? That's not good for anyone, including yourself. What incentive does a monopoly have to innovate? None whatsoever.

You can make the same agrument about consoles vs PC can't you? do you play consoles?

He wasn't saying he wants apple to have a monopoly. I don't really see how everyone is like ZOMG's apple has a monopoly, when android has a higher market share than the IOS. (albeit on many different phones).

I have a samsung flip phone, because I don't want all this crap in my pants. but what game do you have on android that looks better than Infinity Blade II on Retina Screen?
