Also, we've never had such complete diversity before.
We've got:
-A low-powered, cheap, innovative system that has a lot of unique types of games. It has gimped online.
-An extremely high-powered, expensive system that offers HD gaming and nice online, with a built-in HD movie player.
-A system that lies somewhere in between the two in price, that is (marginally) less powerful than said other system, and offers a mix of more casual games as well as more games for dedicated gamers. Also, RROD must be taken into account, as well as the fact that it currently has the best online system for a console.
As you can see, we have three extremely different consoles this generation, so it's expected why some would feel a little more hostility toward a console they did not choose.
In my opinion, the best console war was the last one, because all systems were affordable, all were pretty well-made, and all systems were extremely similar in power. That meant that the 'war' came down to one thing--exclusive games. That's the way it should be.
