Shuhei Yoshida, after reading this news on the Internet: "Oh, it seems these sales are bad. But I know exactly what the Vita needs: less exclusives!"

Well, Vita games dont sell (cause the system doesnt sell), so even Sony has to recoup the development costs. I wouldnt be surprised if they announced a PS3 version of Wipeout 2048 soon aswell.

That is just rediculous. So now you basically have the Vita costing a bit more than the PS3 and having the very likely possibility of having nothing of it's own just a few scaled down ports of available ps3 games? what market are they going for here with this plan?

It is genuinely depressing to watch.

Good news for the Vita. Instead of porting the game for the PS3 to recoup losses they just closed down studio liverpool... actually scratch that, its terrible news. The Wipeout series just got killed by Sony and their inability to do something with the Vita.
