Ultimately a game console is nothing without its exclusives, if a gaming site doesn't like the exclusives being shown, then that leads to negative articles. The WiiU as a hole is targeting two markets, the Wii market and the PS360 market, the former I'm sure will enjoy NSMB2 and other Nintendo franchises but the later wants the second coming of Halo, Gears or Uncharted, that isn't happening right now, so people complain.
