This rampant Wii U hate does not seem logical

Maybe because the Wii U is a "next-gen" console that doesn't seem to offer anything new besides a tablet controller that's used for gimmicks?

I think it's the Nintendo fans who have a biased opinion on this console and not the industry or the non-Nintendo fans...

(I hope I don't get banned again for critizising this console...)
