though $250 is a bit pricey, I still think it was a fantastic price point for the Vita; before it came out everyone thought it would be well over $300. but basically we got a stellar upgrade from the PSP at the same starting price point

what plagues the vita is what plagued the PSP, it doesn't have a system seller game, Sony relied too much on 3rd-party devs with the PSP, and their first-party isn't strong enough to sell their franchises on a handheld console as most of Sony's franchise are new. When the 3DS was doing bad, all they did was cut the price and release 2 Mario games basically back to back and bam!! 3DS was back in business.

the Vita's not dead, but it's nearing life support. The holidays with be good for the vita, I can seen it selling 150k-175 during the holidays, the only system seller I can see is actually CoD: Declassified, whether looking like crap, if it can catch that CoD hype the sales for it and the vita could skyrocket. all Sony has to do is throw in an ad saying "play CoD anytime. anywhere" and I actually think FF X HD can also sell some vita's as well,(speculating that it will be out before/during the holidays) one of the most memorable titles on the PS2 on the go? instant sales! and I'm hoping a TGS Sony confirms what everyone has been asking for and that is port FF Type-0 to the vita!!! trophies or not that would give vita sales a nice boost in the west(seeing as we haven't even gotten the PSP version)
