Hmm... Software didn't boost as much as the COMG numbers suggested. Many games only saw sub-10% increases, and some no increase at all (or even decreased). Japan forgot Obon is this week???
Very nice boost for both Mario Karts, Taiko, Mario Party 9, and especially MH3G! Not bad for NSMB2, expected higher for Pokemon and DQ10, and Onitori decreasing on Obon is disappointing.
Nice boost for the Playstation family and 3DS. Wii is holding on for probably the last 10k+ week before the holiday season. Surprised at the differences between Famitsu and Media Create for PS3, 3DS and DS.
I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling that we will see a huge drop next week for everything, similar to the "DOOM WEEK" that came after Golden Week. http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/41042/Japan/
