What's going on with my computer? (graphics card not being used?)

I went to HP downloaded all the graphic card drivers didn't help. I just tried Crysis 2, the game performed the exact same whether I changed the graphics card to power saving or high performance, made no difference.

otherwise try this:

in bios, when computer starts, hit esc, then f10 at the next menu, this will bring you to the bios menu, after that scroll to the section that lists "switchable graphics" change this setting from Dymanic mode to: Fixed mode(that means it will always use ati card), then exit and saved changes. I hope this helps because it did for me.

if that works it's not the card that is faulty and you probably need to update the bios to get dynamic mode working

It didn't seem to make a difference in Crysis I turned it on and off and it was still choppy and slow both times. Also I updated my Bios to the latest and I can't find that option, it says nothing about the GPU.
