To me it looks like you care (a bit) too much about open world. 

Yeah, I'm a sucker for open world. Always have, always will. (I wander how many open world games are on my top 25)

AC 1 better than Brotherhood, I know that's a bit questionable. My main thing with Brotherhood is that with all these meaningless features the game felt diluted and didn't hold together, while AC 1 was one tight, atmospheric package. Plus AC1 actually offered some challenge while Brotherhood plays totally by itself. I really really loved AC1 from the first minute.

Two Worlds II is a masterpiece. It's not just the typical what you expect from a great open world game (exploration and tons of items and quests) but also has unique game mechanics.

Quake Wars is the best shooter ever made on PC. It got a horrible undeserving console port, but it's still solid.
