I respect that this is your list, but really, you could have gotten many of these on PC or 360 and had a better experience. Besides, why buy a system and play (or care for) so few of its exclusive titles? |
I like to have all my games on the same platform due to the achievement system (in this case Trophies) and the online echo system (friends on PSN). I don't care one yota if the X360 version has slightly better graphics. Half-Life 2 is supposed to be a horrible port, I still loved it on PS3. I have had no problems with Skyrim. Etc etc.
Now I already mentioned Trophies and online echo system (not to forget free online) but I bought my PS3 in the belief that it had a few great games that I simply must experience (it didn't turn out exactly so, but thanks to Demon's Souls alone it was still worth it).
Demon's Souls
God of War 3
Journey
ICO/SotC HD collection
Heavy Rain
Uncharted series (they're IMO weak as games, but as an experience - kinda like enjoying a great adventure movie, I still think they're worth to get for say $25)
Plus the upcoming God of War Ascension, Okami HD, Tokyo Jungle, The Last of us (see "the Uncharted experience"), Beyond.
I think that's plenty of reason to get a PS3.
