No, but I don't believe they are making it up as they go..

It's reactionary and lacking in a strong and clear strategic plan.  I am yet to see evidence to the contrary, perhaps you can share it with us.

It would boost memory card sales(higher capacity cards), and would draw PS3 only owners to purchase a vita, because sony is giving ps3 owners an option to play some of their favorite ps3 games on the vita anywhere they want..

but I do agree it is reactionary
