Wow really guys. Supporting Xbox live likes it's some kind of special thing. Imagine if Microsoft decided to go with free online like everybody else. Cross game chat would still be there, I know that's the biggest feature the console has because it creates the community and atmosphere on the console. I can't think of any feature that wouldn't exist if XBL was free. You can argue better servers, less lag, better security, but there isn't strong facts to support that. For every person who says that XBL doesn't lag there's a person who says PSN doesn't, there needs to be a real test, not consumer speculation. Sure PSN had a huge hack but XBL gets hacked all the time, individual accounts are often targets, hackers have even taken over high profile accounts of Microsoft employees, people are oft to forget when XBL went down for a month (or so) a few years ago.

The whole point of this satire piece is to imply that the services are not so different and that Microsoft should either stop charging for their online service or provide more incentive to match competition. This gen they have an edge with cross game chat, but next gen they have to do something to justify the subscription. Be defensive of your hard earned dollars you plugged into this service, if you hadn't paid it you wouldn't have it simple as that, but as far as what they need to do to keep their business moving forward they are going to have to make a decision.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
