Now you know how I feel when I can't get all of the J-Pop or K-Pop music that they don't carry on the US store! :/
Have you tried looking online for a US iTunes Gift Card? They should carry them somewhere that can ship to Ecuador.
It's good of you to not want to do the alternative. I understand getting frustrated, though.
